My brother recently made a post on his blog about politics. The comments from the post went as follows:

Hm...I guess Obama does suck if you have no idea what you're voting for because all you care about is one issue: abortion. Almost everyone I know who supports McCain/Palin know nothing about him or his plans to obliterate middle class America...just that he is semi anti-abortion. What they refuse to realize is that Roe v. Wade will never be turned over and there are so many more issues that are more important! Totally ridiculous really.

Obama has to patriotism for this country what so ever. and maybe after/if he is elected we will finally realize what a mistake we have made.
McCain sucks too... they both suck. I honestly dont care what happens, whatever...

Notice how she says, "...if he is elected WE will finally realize what a mistake WE have made." However, the next thing she says makes me think that she doesn't even care enough to vote. She goes on, "I honestly dont care what happens, whatever...". Our economy is in so far deep right now, yet so many people still have the mentality of "I don't care"

please dont tell me i dont care... like i said on adam's blog.. my brother is in the middle of this, and you dont know anything about that or how that feels. so dont judge me or my feelings about what is going on.
what i said in the first post was a joke, then people went from there and had to start something. but whatever.. like i said i dont care.... yeah....

it seems as if you do care, but only about your brother being over there. i do respect what your brother is doing, and i wouldn't want anything to happen to him. i can imagine how hard it is for your family. i was just saying it seems as if you don't care enough to vote in order to get what you want to happen. do you want this war to go on? if so vote for mccain. do you want it to stop? if so vote for obama. this had nothing to do with your feelings on anything but voting. i wish kids our age cared passionately about what is going on in our country right now.

i understand that. do you want him over there though? if you want the war to end, i'd suggest voting for obama because he has a timeline planned for getting out of there. mccain has no timeline planned, which means our troops could be there for a long time. i know that you care for your brother, and like i said i didn't mean to offend you. i wasn't questioning how much you cared about your brother. it was simply about people who don't care about voting.
